As of September 2022, a total of 20,832 indigent students from Lanao del Sur and Marawi City received their educational subsidies under the Angat Bangsamoro: Kabataan tungo sa Karunungan (ABaKa) Program of MSSD.
For the years 2020-2022, a total of 9,609 students from Lanao del Sur A; 7,929 from Lanao del Sur B; and 3,294 from Marawi City have received their ABaKa grants. The beneficiaries are composed of qualified elementary, high school, and college students.
There are still ongoing payouts in other BARMM provinces, with the Ministry distributing a total of PhP 149,837,000 worth of assistance for ABaKa program as of this writing.
