LANAO DEL SUR โ To culminate the womenโs month celebration in this province, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) visited women deprived of liberty in Lanao del Sur Provincial Jail on March 31, 2023.
A short program was conducted, giving the women an opportunity to share their daily activities and showcase their handmade products, which serve as their source of income while serving their time inside the facility.
The 12 women received dignity kits, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, 25 kilogram-rice, and grocery items. By providing them with these relief items, the Ministry hopes to improve their well-being and contribute to their overall rehabilitation.
