SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ As part of its extensive assessment of potential beneficiaries of each program, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted home visitation for the new batch of applicants under the Kupkop Program and Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program here on 27 February 2023.
This is to properly profile them and evaluate their current living status.
The Kupkop Program, which is the first of its kind in the Philippines, provides orphaned children with the necessary financial resources that would give them access to balanced nutrition, education, a healthy lifestyle, and a secure and caring alternative care arrangement. On the other hand, the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program aims to provide the indigent households in BARMM with business capital and free skills training to help them gain a regular source of income.
