15 December 2021 — Sulu residents received CoVID-19 vaccines on the first day of the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan 2”, with the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) continuing its support for the second round of the National CoVID-19 Vaccination Drive.
Aside from getting themselves armed with the needed protection against CoVID-19, 5,173 senior citizens, persons with disability, solo parents, pregnant women, indigenous people, 4Ps beneficiaries, and young people between 12-17 years old from 11 municipalities in Sulu received 10 kilograms of rice after getting jabbed.
MSSD distributed 2,069 sacks of rice during the first day of the National Vaccination Drive to encourage the residents of the Bangsamoro Region to get vaccinated to avoid infection and prevent the spread of the deadly disease.
