MARAWI CITY โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) served relief goods to a total of 6,700 beneficiaries composed of students, ustaz (teachers), imams, bilals, and caretakers from different Islamic institutions here, such as torils (learning institution) and masjids.
The beneficiaries, comprised of internally displaced persons (IDPs), orphans, and indigent citizens, received 25 kilogram-rice and food packs during the distribution conducted on February 07-11, 2023 in the different barangays of this city.
The Ministry will continue the distribution in the coming days for the remaining target Islamic institutions here.
