SULU โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) is currently conducting the payout of the rice subsidy allowance under the Sustainable Livelihood Program Livelihood Assistance Grant (SLP LAG) to beneficiaries in Luuk municipality.
The recipients of the payout yesterday, are households who have graduated or exited from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). By extending this grant to them, the Ministry seeks to provide continued support on their path to self-sufficiency and improved well-being.
This recent payout follows a similar initiative carried out by the MSSD in the Municipality of Parang, Sulu, on June 7-8, 2023. During this payout, 90 beneficiaries of the SLP LAG for rice subsidy were granted the same allowance, further enhancing food security and overall economic conditions for the recipients.
Through this intervention and the promotion of sustainable livelihood opportunities, the Ministry aims to empower beneficiaries to improve their economic circumstances and attain a better quality of life.
