Earlier today, March 7, 2023, personnel from the MSSD conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing construction of 84 housing units in the barangays of Salbu, Madia, and Kitapok, located in Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur.
These new homes are being built to provide permanent shelters to the families who were displaced by the armed conflict in the municipality back in 2019.
Present during the project monitoring were Hasim Guiamil, the Chief of the Disaster Response Management Division, Emma Ali, the Provincial Social Welfare Officer of Maguindanao, and the two engineers of MSSD, Alijamel Angeles and Salman Abo.
This move comes as a significant step forward in the community’s efforts to provide a safe and secure living environment for those who have been adversely affected by the unfortunate events of the past.
