In its commitment to advance the promotion and protection of children’s rights, welfare, and health, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) facilitated the oath-taking of a group of children as they delivered the “Panatang Makabata,” alongside the workforce of the Bangsamoro Government, earlier today, November 6, 2023. This event took place during the flag ceremony at the grounds of the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City.
This activity also marked the commencement of the National Childrenโs Month (NCM) celebration in BARMM.
MSSD executives, namely Minister Atty. Raissa Herradura Jajurie, Deputy Minister Nur-Ainee Tan Lim, and Director General Atty. Mohammad Muktadir Estrella, personally joined the children on stage to deliver the oath. This symbolic gesture signifies the commitment of duty-bearers in advancing the rights of the children.
In her speech, Minister Jajurie outlined the series of upcoming NCM activities scheduled across the Bangsamoro region. These activities will materialize through the collaborative efforts among different BARMM ministries and development partners aligned with this monthโs observance.
