The field workers of the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted house-to-house monitoring and assessment of flood-affected families due to the heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Depression Agaton (Megi) in the municipalities of Sultan Kudarat, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, and Datu Montawal, Maguindanao on Tuesday, April 11, 2022.
Based on the disaster operation report of MSSD, as of yesterday, April 12, there are sixteen (16) municipalities in the province with 150 barangays that were affected by the flooding.
A total of 56, 831 families whose houses were submerged in the floodwater.
The house-to-house assessment of the said households are still ongoing in the municipalities of Ampatuan, Mamasapano, Datu Salibo, Paglat, Datu Piang, Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Pagalungan, Shariff Aguak, Guindulungan, Mother Kabuntalan, Northern Kabuntalan, and Sultan sa Barongis.
