KABACAN, SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ A family of four (4), who has dwelled on the streets of Makati City for almost four (4) years, has successfully returned to Barangay Pedtad here on 11 August 2022. This is through the Humanitarian Assistance and Transfer for Individuals in Distress (HATID) program of MSSD.
This family, composed of 2 adults and 2 minor children, was reunited with their relatives after being referred by Makati Social Welfare Department of Makati City Local Government Unit to MSSD office in BARMM-SGA, Kabacan Cluster.
Aside from their transportation fee, the Ministry also provided them with 50 kilogram-rice, food packs, hygiene kits, and dignity kits as initial intervention.
To help them adjust properly, the concerned social workers will continue to monitor them and provide them with other necessary interventions through case management.
