SULU โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) partnered with rural health units (RHUs) of Omar and Siasi to promote maternal health of indigent pregnant women in their respective localities.
In Omar, the Ministry has distributed maternity kits and welfare goods to 20 pregnant women during the Safe Motherhood Program on March 20, 2023 at Brgy. Lahing-Lahing.
A total of 10 beneficiaries from Siasi also received maternity kits on March 16 during the medical outreach program conducted at Barangay Hall of Campo Islam.
