OMAR, SULU โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan Program, distributed the cash grants of 186 indigent Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) here on July 18, 2023.
The following day, the beneficiaries attended the commemoration of the 45th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week, where several lectures about their rights and privileges were discussed. The Ministry also presented its programs and services that cater to their needs.
The participants received welfare goods and additional cash assistance from the local government unit of Omar.
