๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฏ๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฃ๐ช๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐จ๐ฝ๐ถ MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) distributed assistive devices to indigent persons with disabilities (PWDs) in South Upi, Maguindanao del Sur held on November 16, 2023. The said assistive devices include 3 wheelchairs, 2 single canes, 2 quad canes, and 1 crutch for identified eligible PWDs. Prior to the distribution, there was also a short orientation on the significant provisions of RA 7277 also known as the Magna Carta of Disabled Persons as amended by RA 9442 for the clients to increase their awareness of their rights as PWDs. The local government unit gathered 150 PWDs, held a talent competition, and provided tokens and cash prizes. Present during the activity were MSSD BARMM Maguindanaoโs PWD Coordinator, Nestor Cabigas, MSSD municipal field workers, and the local government officials and personnel of South Upi. ๐๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ผ๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐!
