(20 December 2021 | Maguindanao) The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) continues its relief distribution for at least 3,346 families affected by Typhoon Odette in the municipalities of Datu Montawal, Pagalungan, and Guindulungan in Maguindanao.
On Monday, 20 December 2021, MSSD workers continued the delivery of welfare goods for 1,500 families from Datu Montawal, Maguindanao. Five hundred residents from Barangays Bulit and Pagagawan received a 25 kg sack of rice each, while 1,000 residents from Barangays Talapas, Limbalod, Batungkayo, and Tunggol received family food packs consisting fo 10 kg rice, 10 cans of sardines, 10 noodles, 1 kg brown sugar, 12 coffee sachets, 1 pack of biscuits, and 100 ml cooking oil.
On the same day, MSSD also reached 1,660 residents from the town of Pagalungan. One thousand sixty (1,060) families from Barangay Poblacion received family food pacs while 500 residents from Barangay Damalasak received 25 kgs. of rice each.
In Guindulungan, MSSD provided 25 kgs of rice for 286 families from Barangays Muslim and Kalumamis.
The relief assistance from MSSD augmented the goods from the municipal LGUs.
MSSD shall continue to reach out to other typhoon affected families in the next few days.
