A total of 300 Bangsamoro Women for Peace (BWP) members at Balut Island, Davao Occidental received 25 kilogram-rice and food packs during the distribution conducted on 28-30 December 2022.
Meanwhile, the same relief goods were also given to 250 MNLF members at Barangay San Jose, General Santos City on 26-27 December.
Under the Bangsamoro Organic Law (Republic Act 11054), the Bangsamoro Government is mandated to provide assistance for the Bangsamoro people residing in communities outside BARMM to enhance their economic, social, and cultural development.
