WAO, LANAO DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted validation of senior citizens here for the Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) grant they will receive through their Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) cash cards.
On April 26-27, 2023, the beneficiaries from barangays Kadingilan, Buot, Panang, Banga, Serran Village, Muslim Village, and Christian Village have undergone the said validation.
During the event, the indigent senior citizen beneficiaries were assisted in filling out all the forms necessary to open their own bank account.
The UCT Program is a nationally-funded tax reform mitigation program managed by the Ministry, which aims to provide cash grants to indigent sectors, including senior citizens who are grantees of the Social Pension Program.
