LANAO DEL SUR — MSSD conducted simultaneous payouts to beneficiaries of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Angat Bangsamoro: Kabataan tungo sa Karunungan (ABaKa) Program, and Kupkop Program in municipalities of Malabang, Marogong, Balabagan, and Kapatagan here on 11 September 2022.
A total of 274 beneficiaries of SLP received PhP 15,000 each as livelihood assistance grant. This financial subsidy serves as a capital that will help the identified indigent recipients in starting a small business.
Under the Kupkop Program, 31 orphan children received PhP 5,000 each as a one-time subsidy that they can use in buying their school supplies and uniform.
The ABaKa beneficiaries here also received their one-time educational subsidy, wherein the 16 college students received PhP 10,000 each; 17 high school students received PhP 3,000 each; and 28 elementary students received PhP 2,000 each.
With the opening of classes and increasing prices of basic goods, the Ministry aims to provide sustainable solutions that can help the vulnerable sector to support their education and livelihood.
