SHARIFF SAYDONA MUSTAPHA, MAGUINDANAO DEL SUR โ In response to the recent floods that have affected thousands of families in this province, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) is actively conducting a series of relief distributions in the target municipalities.
During the distributions held from July 27 to 31, 2023, the Ministry provided relief assistance to 3,169 flood-affected households in the Municipality of Shariff Saydona Mustapha.
This municipality frequently experiences recurring flooding, primarily due to its location as a catch basin municipality. Even when neighboring areas receive no rainfall, Shariff Saydona Mustapha remains vulnerable to flooding.
