LANAO DEL SUR โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) recently conducted an outreach program in Masiu on April 12, 2023 for indigent muslim religious leaders. The program aimed to provide support and assistance to these leaders who play a significant role in the community.
Alongside receiving relief goods, the beneficiaries also participated in the orientation on Empowerment and Reaffirmation of Parental Abilities Training (ERPAT), and referral pathways for child protection and gender-based violence (GBV).
Meanwhile, a total of 495 beneficiaries from municipalities of Buadipuso Buntong, Mulondo, and Piagapo received the same set of essential goods comprising 25 kilogram-rice, groceries, and water kit on April 07, 2023. Among the recipients are bilals of masjids, orphans, and indigent households.
This outreach program is also being conducted in other parts of the province, targeting other vulnerable groups such as internally displaced persons (IDPs), persons with disabilities (PWDs), and indigent women.
