SITANGKAI, TAWI-TAWI โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its Older Persons and Persons with Disability Welfare Program, conducted a house-to-house distribution of Hadiya care packages to 22 indigent bedbound senior citizens in this municipality.
This intervention aims to provide essential goods and gadgets to support the health and well-being of the elderly beneficiaries.
Each pack contains a digital blood pressure monitor, finger pulse oximeter, temperature scanner, pillbox, two boxes of disposable face masks, liniment oil, rubbing alcohol, two packs of adult diapers, a hot and cold compress device, talcum powder, mentholated rub, a wooden back scratcher, two packs of powdered milk, a set of socks, a towel, burn ointment, povidone-iodine, gauze bandage, surgical tape, cotton balls, band-aids, and tissue rolls.
The same activity was conducted in municipalities of Panglima Estino and Pangutaran in the province of Sulu.
