TAWI-TAWI โ As part of Financial Assistance System Transformation (FAST) Project’s pilot-testing component, MSSD conducted assessment and enrollment activity here on 23-27 December for the target beneficiaries residing at Bongao and Tandubas.
A total of 1, 041 beneficiaries under the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro and Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan programs of the Ministry were registered during the activity.
Prior to the enrollment of the pilot beneficiaries, MSSD’s Chief of Finance Division Hamodi L. Tiboron conducted orientation about the FAST project to the municipal social workers, field researchers, and para-social workers there to define their role in its implementation. Through their assessment, the Ministry can identify the beneficiaries who will qualify for the over-the-counter and digital modes of payout.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries were also given an overview of the project and its purpose.
The pilot implementation of this new payout system will determine the appropriate approaches and strategies in transforming MSSD’s financial assistance distribution, especially in island municipalities of BARMM, like Bongao and Tandubas.
The same activity will be conducted in other target municipalities of the region in the coming weeks.
