On 30 March 2022, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC)-Cotabato City Chapter, distributed relief goods for 37 families who lost their homes during a fire that totally damaged their properties.
The 37 families received family food packs, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits from MSSD. The goods were disbursed by the Philippine Red Cross, on behalf of MSSD, in compliance with Comelecโs prohibition against the release, disbursement or expenditure of public funds during the election period.
The fire incident occurred on 28 March 2022 at Barangay Martinez Poblacion IV in Cotabato City wherein seventeen (17) houses were totally damaged.
