MALABANG, LANAO DEL SUR โ Several microentrepreneurs assisted by the Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK) Program showcased their livelihood ventures during a recent monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD).
Aleng Rowena, a well-known street food vendor in the municipality, expressed her gratitude for the livelihood support she received from the BSK Program, which has helped her grow her small business. After assessment, she was deemed eligible for the scale-up phase of the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program. This means she will receive additional capital to further expand her business. She is among the program’s beneficiaries who have successfully sustained their small businesses.
In addition, Members of the PAGASA Youth Association in barangays Bunkhouse, Maday, and Matalin have been actively raising livestock as a means of generating income. Their livestock includes chickens, ducks, and goats.
The success stories of these microentrepreneurs in Malabang demonstrate the positive impact of the BSK Program in empowering individuals and communities. Through continued support and assistance, MSSD-BARMM aims to foster sustainable livelihoods and uplift the lives of beneficiaries across the Bangsamoro region.
