𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: A total of 157 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from the provinces of Iloilo, Bacolod, and Maguindanao have arrived at Jolo, Sulu on June 30 and July 03, 2023. Upon arrival, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) provided them with relief goods comprised of 25 kilogram-rice and food packs.
After collecting the necessary information from the LSIs, the MSSD-Sulu social workers coordinated with the concerned local government units to help the individuals return to their places of origin. All of the said LSIs are from the Badjao communities in the province.
