The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) in collaboration with the Office of BTA Member of the Parliament Akmad Jack Abas extended rice assistance to 1,533 indigent senior citizens and farmers.in the barangays of Dalingaoen and Talitay, in Pikit, North Cotabato on 15 to 18 November 2021.
There were 767 recipients from Dalingaoen and 766 from Talitay, who each received 10 kilos of rice.
The 90th Infantry Battalion of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and local government unit also provided logistical support and workforce in facilitating the distribution.
