In line with the observance of the ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ (๐ฃ๐ช๐๐), earlier today, December 3, 2021, field workers of the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) in Tawi-tawi and Sulu traversed the sea to personally visit and handover the assistive devices to identified indigent clients.
Among the disabled clients who were served today, three (3) were in South Ubian and (2) were in Simunul for the province of Tawi-tawi while four (4) were in Indanan, two (2) were in Panglima Tahil, and one (1) in Jolo for the province of Sulu. They were all assessed and validated prior to the handover of the assistive devices.
The assistive devices include wheelchairs, crutches, canes, and quadcanes.
