PATIKUL, SULU — A total of 80 internally displaced families residing at Sitio Lab, Barangay Langhub here received welfare goods from MSSD earlier today.
Initially, the IDP beneficiaries were forced to evacuate because of an armed conflict between the AFP and members of ASG. Currently, they are living in shanty shelters.
In coordination with AFP, the goods were transported to the location and each family received 25-kilogram rice, food pack, dignity kit, hygiene kit, sleeping kit, and sakolin (trapal).
