In line with improving the mental and social wellbeing of the women facing difficult situations, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) through its Recovery and Reintegration Program for Trafficked Persons (RRPTP) in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) held a two-day Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) session to fourteen (14) victim-survivors of human trafficking and distressed overseas Bangsamoro workers on March 23- 24, 2022 at Amaya Beach Resort, Barangay Kusiong, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
During the session, the women attendees were taught about stress management and were able to participate and express themselves in the various interactive activities and sharing session.
The women participants also received training kits from MSSD and IOM.
Moving forward, RRPTP will be conducting similar sessions for the clients belonging to said women sectors in the other BARMM provinces.
