BARANGAY MACASENDEG, SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) recently conducted a distribution of relief assistance to 1,320 families in this barangay who have been severely affected by the recent flooding incidents in SGA.
On July 02, 2023, each affected household received a family food pack consisting of 25 kilogram-rice, canned goods, and instant coffee. The relief operation aimed to provide essential goods and support to the households whose livelihoods have been impacted by the floods.
Floods have been a recurrent concern in the area, and the MSSD’s response to provide relief aid to affected families reflects the Bangsamoro Government of the Dayโs commitment to prioritize the welfare of vulnerable communities in the region.
