SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA —The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) started the relief distributions for the severely flood-affected families in this area on June 24, 2023.
A total of 2,153 households from barangays Rajahmuda, Bagoinged, Nabundas, and Buliok received 25 kilogram-rice and food packs from the Ministry. Additionally, families staying at evacuation centers were provided with sleeping kits, water kits, and sakoline (trapal).
As of June 25, 2023, recent data reveals that a total of 24,169 households from 21 barangays within the SGA are in urgent need of assistance. The Ministry is actively working to address this situation and provide the necessary support to the affected families. Efforts are underway to coordinate relief operations and ensure that every household in need receives the appropriate aid and intervention.
