INDANAN, SULU – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) and the Municipal Local Government Unit of Indanan, Sulu, distributed welfare goods on November 1, 2023, to the 17 families affected by the fire incident last October 28th.
Each family has received one (1) gallon of mineral water, one (1) sack of rice, and food packs containing assorted sardines, noodles, coffee, and sugar. The Indanan MLGU also provided additional relief assistance such as one (1) sack of rice and grocery items.
The immediate action from the MSSD is part of the agency’s Bangsamoro Critical Assistance for Indigents in Response to Emergency Situations (B-CARES) Program aimed at providing aid to families affected by the crisis.
