MOTHER BAGUA, COTABATO CITY โ A total of 29 families affected by a fire incident here received relief assistance from the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD).
The Ministry provided each household with essential items such as dignity kits, food packs, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, water kits, and cooking equipment. The beneficiaries were also assessed for futher social interventions they may need such as Emergency Shelter Assistance (ESA) and/or Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA).
This is in coordination with BARMM-Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READi), which provided transportation support during the relief operation. The City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO) were also present during the validation of the beneficiaries.
MSSD’s emergency response is implemented through its Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), which offers prompt support to individuals and families facing crises and emergency situations.
