COTABATO CITY — Following the fire incident here on the night of May 25, 2022, in Zone 3, Brgy. Rosary Heights that damaged houses and left 26 families homeless, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) provided them food and non-food items on May 27 to 30 as an immediate intervention.
Each family received 25 kilos of rice, family food pack, dignity kit, jerry can, and sleeping kit.
Financial assistance will also be given to the families under the ministry’s Bangsamoro Critical Assistance for Indigents in Response to Emergency Situations (B-CARES) Program.
Eligible beneficiaries of B-CARES include indigent families or individuals who are facing crises and difficult situations upon assessment and recommendation of MSSD field social workers.
