TUGAYA, LANAO DEL SUR โ MSSD delivered and distributed food packs for the children enrolled in 20 child development centers (CDCs) here on March 21-22, 2023. This is under the 12th cycle implementation of Supplemental Feeding Program (SFP).
Each indigent learner received 20 kilogram-rice, 1 kilogram of sweet potato, 1 kilogram of glutinous rice flour, 1 kilogram of green mung beans, 1 kilogram of brown sugar, 1 liter of cooking oil, 3 chayotes, 2 apples, 250 grams of dried anchovies, 300 grams of noodles, and a dozen eggs.
SFP is a nationally funded program that provides food for children aged between 2 and 5 years old who are enrolled in Child Development Centers (CDCs) or supervised neighborhood play areas. This is to ensure that the indigent daycare learners in the region have access to healthy and balanced meals, which are essential for their growth and development.
