BONGAO, TAWI-TAWI โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) disbursed the first-quarter honorarium to 25 child development workers (CDWs) assigned in various parts of the province on May 25, 2023.
Recognizing the crucial role they play in educating young learners, each CDW received a P6,000 honorarium from the Ministry’s Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) Program, which is implemented through the Children and Youth Welfare Development Program (CYWP).
There are currently 25 child development centers (CDCs) in the province, which cater to the early childhood development and education needs of enrolled children, ensuring a strong foundation for their holistic growth and future success.
In addition to the honorarium, the CDWs will also receive learning kits that include board story books, balls, art papers, colored chalks, posters, pencils, erasers, scissors, and watercolors.
Key officials from the municipal local government units and MSSD field workers were present during the payout.
