MARAWI CITY — A total of 707 indigent beneficiaries from the 2022 target received their educational assistance under the Angat Bangsamoro: Kabataan tungo sa Karunungan (ABaKa) Program of the Ministry from September 15-16, 2022 at the city hall gymnasium.
The beneficiaries are composed of 265 elementary students, 283 high school students, and 159 college students from the different barangays of Marawi City.
The applicants submitted their requirements last year and after validation of their documents, the designated social workers conducted an evaluation to arrive with the final list of indigent students. All the incoming applicants for 2023 will also undergo the same process.
