SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA (SGA) โ Fifty community responders received Emergency Go Bags here on 23 January 2024, with the lead of Ministry of Social Services and Developmentโs (MSSD) SGA provincial office, in line with the week-long celebration of Bangsaoro Foundation Day.
The 50 responders also underwent a community orientation dubbed as Listong Pamilyang Bangsamoro equipping them with disaster awareness and preparedness skills, promoting the importance of quick response during emergencies.
Each responder received an Emergency Grab Bag composed of 1pc solar lamp, 1pc radio, 2pcs whistles, 1pc rope (10m), 1pc collapsible water container, 2pcs document file bag, 2pcs compress dressing, 2 rolls gauze roll bandage, 1 pack adhesive bandages, 1pc adhesive cloth tape, 20pcs antiseptic wipes, 5 packs sterile gauze pads (3x3in), 5 packs sterile gauze pads (4x4in), 3 sachet itch-control ointment, 1pc thermo-scanner, 2packs non-latex gloves, 1pc bandage shear, 2pcs tweezer, 2pcs thermal blanket, 1 pack cotton balls, and 1 bottle povidone-iodine.
Present in the activity were MSSDโs SGA provincial social welfare officer Haron D. Amer, RSW; Disaster Risk Reduction Management focal Hyri-nur R. Pamikirin, RSW and Municipal Social Welfare Officers (MSWOs) of Pikit A and Pikit B.
