SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA (SGA), BARMM – As part of the week-long observance of Bangsamoro Founding Anniversary, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through its provincial social welfare office, set up booths showcasing various MSSD programs at Pikit Gymnasium, 25 January 2024.
Five families from barangays Buliok, Rajamuda, and Bagoinged received emergency go-bags. Another five indigent families received family food packs (FFP), and five Child Development Centers received 3-in-1 outdoor facilities.
MSSD also distributed 1,511 FFP for families affected by flooding in barangay Bagoinged.
The FFP contains 25 kg of rice, 10 packs of instant coffee, 6 cans of sardines, 3 cans of corned beef, and 3 cans of tuna.
The activity, led by provincial social welfare officer, Haron D. Amer, RSW, is part of the Emergency Assistance Program under the Disaster Response Management Division of MSSD.
