BASILAN โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Al-Barka, this province, conducted a joint payout for 319 beneficiaries from various programs on January 11โ12, 2024.
Among the recipients, 10 case-managed beneficiaries under the Kupkop program received PhP15,000; 39 elementary students through the Angat Bangsamoro: Kabataan Tungo sa Karunungan (ABaKa) program received PhP2,000 each; 39 highschool students received PhP3,000 each; and 19 college students received PhP10,000 each.
Moreover, 86 beneficiaries under the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro program received PhP10,800 each; 117 beneficiaries under the Kalinga Para sa May Kapansanan program received Php 6,000 each; and nine daycare workers received PhP18,000 each.
This collaborative effort exemplifies ongoing commitment to uplifting vulnerable sectors in the Bangsamoro region. More than just providing financial assistance, it represents a multi-pronged approach, tailored to offer both immediate financial relief and lay the groundwork for livelihoods and improved living conditions for beneficiaries.
