HADJI PANGLIMA TAHIL, SULU — A total of 208 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries received their LBP EMV Cash Cards on 13 August 2022 at Rahmat Dive Resort of Barangay Bangas in this municipality.
The recipients are comprised of 116 beneficiaries of Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT), who belong to the Badjao indigenous group; while 92 of them are beneficiaries of Regular Conditional Cash Transfer (RCCT).
MSSD implemented the use of cash cards in releasing the cash grants of the beneficiaries to facilitate convenient and safer mode of payout.
This is in coordination with 4Ps Provincial Operations Office (POO), Municipal Roving Bookkeepers (MRBs), Municipal Social Welfare Office (MSWO), Municipal Link (ML), Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Notre Dame Cooperative, Local Government Unit (LGU), Philippine National Police (PNP), and para-social workers.
The ministry reminds all the 4Ps beneficiaries that the LBP EMV cash cards are released for free. Collecting payments in exchange of the cash cards is strictly prohibited.
