Earlier today, a total of 168 indigent persons with disabilities (PWDs) received financial assistance worth 1,500 Php each in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte. The said assistance covers the first quarter of their 500 Php monthly subsidy for this year.
This social intervention is part of MSSDโs Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan Program, which provides financial support to qualified PWDs following a rigorous assessment and validation.
This week, MSSD is also scheduled to distribute the monthly rice subsidies for the household beneficiaries of the Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program in the municipality.
