MARANTAO, LANAO DEL SUR โ Following the official launching of registration for the digital payout system at Midsayap on 19 December 2022, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted the same activity at Marantao Municipal Gymnasium earlier today, 22 December.
The beneficiaries of Unlad Pamilyang Bangsamoro Program and Kalinga para sa may Kapansanan Program here were among the pilot registrants in this new payout system, courtesy of Financial Assistance System Transformation (FAST) Project . A total of 43 indigent persons with disability (PWDs) under Kalinga and 75 households under Unlad got registered today, while the remaining unregistered beneficiaries are expected to be accommodated on 23-24 December.
“The digital payout system is a major step towards bringing more efficient social services to all the beneficiaries of the MSSD’s programs. The main goal of the FAST Project is to fast-track the provision of financial assistance in a manner that is safe and convenient to them” said Bai Yasmira N. Pangadapun, MSSD-LSA PSWO.
Also present during the event were Atty. Gada Abdulcader, Jamal M. Ali (PEO-IV), Al Ammen Silo (Accountant IV), Minang M. Nagamora (FCWP Focal), FAST Project representatives, MSSD-LSA Municipal Social Welfare Office staff, MLGU representatives, and designated para-social workers.
