COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) convened here for a two-day workshop to finalize the Regional Plan of Action for Children (RPAC) 2023–2028 on February 1-2, 2024.
The workshop refines the outlined solutions and resolves the commitments of each key regional agency in promoting and protecting the rights of Bangsamoro children to survival, development, protection, and participation.
The BARMM’s RPAC 2023–2028 is under the guidance of the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) which is consistent with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and other relevant international agreements.
The RSCWC, chaired by the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), is a committee of different ministries, offices and agencies in the BARMM that adheres the commitment and dedication of the Bangsamoro Government to positively impact the future of Bangsamoro children.
The planning workshop is in collaboration with UNICEF and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
