LAMITAN CITY, BASILAN โ The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through the Office of the Chief Ministerโs (OCM) Project Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (TABANG), distributed hygiene kits to 502 indigent beneficiaries during the first โTABANG Bangsamoro Convergence Programโ here on 30 September 2022.
The indigent sector, comprised of senior citizens, persons with disability (PWDs), and pregnant women, received a hygiene kit which includes a pail, laundry soap, a pair of slippers, tissue, face mask, hair comb, body soap, sanitary napkin, dipper, nail cutter, and jerry can.
Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, Al-Hadj graced the said activity along with MSSD Minister Atty. Raissa Jajurie, and other key officials of the Bangsamoro Government.
Other BARMM ministries, such as Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Interior and Local Governmentโs (MILG), Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourismโs (MTIT), Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Educationโs (MBHTE), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reformโs (MAFAR), Cooperative and Social Enterprise Authority (CSEA), Ministry of Public Workโs (MPW), and Bangsamoro Women Commissionโs (BWC), also participated and offered their services to the beneficiaries during the event.
The event, anchored on the theme โBringing the Bangsamoro Government Closer to the Peopleโ, aims to reach the marginalized and most vulnerable citizens residing here by bringing the services and assistance they need through the projects of BARMM government in this province.
