MARAWI CITY — A total of 279 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the 24 most affected areas (MAA) of the Marawi siege received P15,000-seed capital on 01 September 2022 at this city’s gymnasium.
This is under the Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK) program of MSSD, which aims to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and families by giving them financial livelihood assistance to start a business.
Prior to the payout, the Ministry, in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWO), conducted an assessment and validation of the target beneficiaries.
