BARMM SPECIAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA (SGA) — The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) conducted a series of relief assistance distributions here for 3,226 flood-affected families from January 30 to February 1, 2024.
Each family received 25 kilos of rice and food packs containing canned goods and instant coffee.
Among the beneficiaries, 1,691 were from Barangay Bulol, 929 from Fort Pikit, and 606 from Barangay Batulawan.
This social intervention is implemented through the Emergency Assistance Program under the Disaster Response Management Division of MSSD.
The distribution of assistance was facilitated by MSSD Provincial Social Welfare Officers, Municipal Social Welfare Officers from the Pikit Cluster, Parasocial workers, Philippine National Police, and representatives from Barangay Local Government Units of Bulol, Fort Pikit, and Batulawan.
