Patikul, SULU โ To equip beneficiaries with knowledge and tools in enhancing their livelihoods, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), through the Sulu provincial social welfare office, conducted a two-day basic business management skills training to 400 beneficiaries here from 18 to 19 January 2024.
Participants include distressed/repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), victim-survivors of human trafficking, and indigent beneficiaries under the Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK) Unlad program.
Each beneficiary received livelihood cash assistance and a monthly rice subsidy amounting to Php 29,400.
The MSSD remains committed to the welfare of the most vulnerable sectors in the Bangsamoro region through the provision of quality services and programs. The Ministry will continue to monitor and support the beneficiaries to ensure their well-being and long-term success.
