LANAO DEL SUR – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Wao, Lanao del Sur, organized a culmination program for National Childrenโs Month in the municipality on November 29, 2023, at Wao Municipal Town Plaza.
More than 2,000 children from different daycare centers in the municipality attended the said culmination program.
Wao Municipal Social Welfare Officer Buhary Macapanton, RSW, also presented updates on the implementation of various programs and services of MSSD for the children.
The children participants also showcased their different talents. The LGU extended prizes to all young learners who performed during the program.
Present also during the event were Mayor Elvino Balico Jr., Local Social Welfare and Development Officer Joy S. Bernadas, representatives from the Ministry of Basic Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
