MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE – The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) facilitated the Childrenโs Month celebration in the municipality together with the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) held on November 19, 2023, at Paulino Labio covered court in Northern Kabuntalan, Maguindanao del Norte.
More than 200 learners from different Child Development Centers (CDC) and supervised neighborhood play (SNP) participated in the celebration. The children participants also showcased their talents during the activity.
The MSSD personnel, Women Children Protection Desks (WCPD) officers, local officials, and other duty-bearers jointly took the oath “Panatang Makabata” to signify their commitment to protecting and promoting the rights, welfare, and general well-being of the children.
The LGU of Northern Kabuntalan also provided 220 slippers, underwears, and meals to the children participants.
Present during the activity were municipal fieldworkers, para-social workers, Child Development Workers (CDWs), LGU personnel, Rural Health Unit (RHU) employees, and the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) workers.
