Vulnerable students in Sulu receive educational assistance SULU – In an unwavering commitment to empowering the indigent Bangsamoro learners, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) extended financial assistance to 22 indigent students through the Angat Bangsamoro: Kabataan Tungo sa Karunungan (ABaKa) Program on November 15, 2023, in Panamao, Sulu. Among the recipients, one (1) elementary student received Php 2,000.00, 11 high school students received Php 3,000.00 each, and ten (10) college students received Php 10,000.00 each. The ABaKa Program is a landmark initiative of MSSD that provides educational assistance to students who belong to low-income and disadvantaged households for their financial needs in school.
